1. How to give yourself a facial
Facials are good for cleaning the dirt out of your face, cleansing spots and having a good 15 minutes of relaxation! Facials should only be done once or twice a week or less it depends what time you have on your hands. The first step is to apply a bit of cleansing lotion to some cotton wool (or a flannel) , rub all over face and leave for 2 minutes (2 slices of cucumber over eyes makes the facial more relaxing, optional). Then get another piece of cotton wool and rub it off gently. After that, apply facial toner to some cotton wool and rub over face, leave on for 1 minute and wipe off with cotton wool. All products you can get from simple skin care range, garnier and other skin care products.
2. Quick daily face routines
This will tell you how to get up in the morning and do a quick routine to make yourself look awake. In the morning, don't wash your face with soap, it drys off your skin and makes it De-hydrated so just splash warm water in your face to wake you up. One idea is to rub Vaseline around your eyes, leave for five minutes and wipe off. Another is to buy a facial spay, they work and wake you up. Spray in face and don't wipe off.
3. What to do if you have an allergic reaction on your face
Sometimes people get allergic reactions to harsh wind or certain make-up products, these are ways to solve them. Wipe your face clean with a sensitive facial wipe and plaster your face in a face moisturiser, make sure it is not harsh to your skin. Or you can put your face in a bowl of ice and water and dont dry off. Also, don't wipe your face too hard with towels or any material, do it gently. If none of these methods work for you, see your GP and ask for some cream or tablets to ease the allergies.
4. Ways to solve bad breath
Many poeple suffer from bad breath and they dont know why. Some methods for curing back breath are to drink 4 big glasses of water a day, you might be de-hydrated and that can cause your breath to smell. Water is aslo good for clearing your insides and getting great skin. Another way is to brush your teeth more than usual, wheather its 3 or 4 times a day. Or you can get some tooth picks and clean inbetween your teeth, there is so much plaque and bacteria in there that it can cause bad breath.
5. How to cleanse spots properly
This will tell you how to cleanse spots properly, it might be painful but it solves the problem. First of all, you need to know that it is ok to squeeze a spot if you want to. Some poeple prefer squeezing them but some dont and its up to you. If you do want to squeeze it then you need to cleanse your face before hand to clean all of the dirt out of your face to prevent any future spots. Then you need leave some space around the spot for it to come out and squeeze! Make sure nothing is in the spot because if it is, it will grow back bigger because the root hasn't been taken out. After you have squoze the spot, it will leave scar for a few days but it will not come back again.
If you don't want to squeeze a spot then you can try this method. Wash your skin thoughorly and pat with a damp towel. Wrap an ice cube in a clean hanky and hold over the spot for a minute or two whilst it brings down the swelling. Then, dip the end of a cotton bud in some diluted tea tree oil (available from your chemist) and dot a tiny amount directly on the spot. Leave to get better.
6. Quick make-up tips
The first thing you need to know with make-up is that you need to use the colours that suit your skin tone, for instance:
Tanned or Dark skin, hair and eyes: bronzes, browns, tanned colours, pale or nude lipglosses and lipsticks
Pale skin, light coloured eyes (blue, green): stick to your pastel colours, pinks, blues, greens and nude colours (not strong colours like black or red.
Never wear too much of any make-up wheather its eyeliner, foundation or blusher, you could end up looking like a clown. Try and wear as little make-up as you can, remember, nobody needs too much make-up.

beauty tips for 11- 13 year olds...
Welcome to beauty tips! The following blogs will help you with all beauty and fashion related crisis's for all age groups.
The most important key to being beautiful is to be as natural as possible, to achieve this and still be fabulously unique you need to:
1) Find your comfort zone
If all the girls at school are wearing tonnes of make-up and having there hair in the latest hair style, does that mean you have to? NO! the most important thing in looks is being yourself and being comfortable in yourself weather that means wearing a football kit or high heels...but that doesn't mean following the crowd. Be you!
2) Clothes don't have to constantly be in style for them to look good
This part is sometimes hard to understand...why cant you wear you old clothes and your new clothes together? Heres some tips of combining updated clothes with old clothes:
e.g. wearing something in style (skinny jeans, jeggings etc.) with a top that you've had for 2 years and accessorizing in your own way, this makes the outfit relevant and takes use of your old clothes.
3) Having a bad hair doesn't mean you have to have bad hair
Ever had one of those days where your hair just doesn't do what you want it to? well weather you have thick, thin, short of long hair you can still make it work.
thick hair- throw it up in a bun. mess around with your hair untiul it looks right, be experimental. Use 50 bobbles and hair grips if you have to!
thin hair- put it in a pony tail. people with thin hair always look good in a pony tail, even if they think they dont. stick in a jazzy headband or a funky bobble. its a great simple style!
short hair- if your hair is long enough, put it in a little pony tail. believe me, it looks more grown-up than it does baby-ish. or have it down a put a headband in or some grips. there are lots of ways of looking great without blow- drying and staightening.
long hair- long hair choices are endless, you can create lots of styles that look fantastic without making too much of a effort. a bun, a pony tail, plaits, throwing your hair up and securing with grips...it goes on!
Good luck 11-13 year olds, i hope this advice was useful and gave you the confidence to look fabulous!
